In the news recently we heard about the State of California filing a lawsuit against a company which makes Free Range Goat Milk Baby Formula. The State alleges that there is an unsafe level of lead in the baby formula and thus there is a danger of cancer if that product is used.
Our purpose for this blog posting is not to name names. Our purpose certainly is not to take sides in this issue or to state an opinion on a case which has not ever reached the courts yet. The lawsuit may have valid claims; it may not; we have no opinion on it.
But what we can state, without any hesitation at all, is that such a lawsuit will never be filed against Mt. Capra for our infant goat milk formula. The idea of any levels of lead being in our product is simply incomprehensible.
Yes, that is a definitive statement, but it is one we make with no hesitation at all.
Ninety years of Mt. Capra backs that statement.
Mt. Capra will not use antibiotics!
Healthy goats make healthy products, and we will continue to run our business using that as a guiding light. Our tagline, wellness shaped by goat’s milk, is something we strongly believe in. We believe in our products so strongly that our own family uses our products. Our children are exposed to our own products. There is no way we would ever allow harmful substances to be present in a product we give to our own family. No way!
And that is the assurance we give to you!
We have been occupying this little slice of heaven, under the shadow of the Cascade Mountains, for a very long time now. It is a pristine environment, the green grasses, the lovely pastures, the contented goats, a vision of health and wellness, a visual reminder of what you will find in all of our products, healthy supplements made with loving care, supplements which have one goal and one goal only: to enhance your lives.
