What goat breeds are found on the Mt. Capra farm?

Our goats are of 4 separate varieties, all know for their production of superior tasting goat milk, and include Alpines, Saanens, Toggenbergs, and La Manchas.

Mt. Capra maintains a ‘closed farm’, which means that we raise our own goats from birth, as opposed to purchasing goats from other sources. We do not bring in new goats to the farm…all are raised exclusively on our Southwest Washington grasslands.

Advantages of a ‘closed farm? Consistency in the quality of milk, for one. The other obvious advantages are that we know our goats have never been exposed to pesticides, GMO feed sources, or any toxic substances. That means you won’t find any of this nasty stuff in our goat milk products!
