Description

Try this refreshing mint julep mocktail using nothing but fresh ingredients to liven up your Spring and Summer while keeping cool and hydrated. While you can drink this with or without the Clean Electrolytes, it becomes a super drink with a boost of over 600 mg potassium when the electrolytes are added.


Ingredients

For the Mint Simple Syrup:

-1/2 cup water
-1/2 cup sugar (cane sugar, white sugar, turbinado sugar)
-1 packet mint from the store,Β  about 1/2 cup


Instructions

For the Mint Simple Syrup:

Add the water and sugar to a small pan and turn up the heat to medium low to medium. Stir with a spoon until the sugar dissolves. Add in the mint leaves and bring the mixture to a boil. Once it boils, turn off the heat and cover with a lid. Let it sit and infuse for 30 minutes.

For the Mint Julep Drink:

Mix all the proportions together, add some ice if desired, and enjoy!

Notes

You can make up some extra and store it in the fridge to drink the next day. I would drink it within a day, as it doesn’t taste as good the second day in the fridge.
