Blackstrap is the molasses yielded from the third and final extraction of sugar refining. It contains the lowest sugar content of any other type of molasses, but the highest in quantities of vitamins and minerals. The cane is harvested and then crushed into a juice. The juice is then evaporated through a boiling process which promotes sugar crystallization. 15 fl. oz jar.
Plantation unsulphured blackstrap molasses is produced from pure, mature sugar cane. ‘Unsulphured’ means that the cane has been allowed to ripen naturally in the field. 15 fl. oz jar.
