Product Overview

Blood Vitality is a clinically studied iron demonstrating high bioavailability, low digestive disturbance, and improved life performance.

The Details

Iron deficiency anemia is one of the most common nutrient deficiencies in the United States. Boosting Ferritin with a Ferritin supplement is one of the best ways to energize your life fast. One of the most common side effects of low iron levels, low hemoglobin, low hematocrit, and low ferritin, include lethargy, listlessness, shortness of breath, restless legs, as well as just simply feeling awful. Some of the most vulnerable to iron deficiency are pregnant prenatal women.

Can the problem be solved with an over the counter iron or ferritin supplement? Yes and no.

99% of the nutritional solutions available for iron deficient men and women MIGHT work EVENTUALLY but they almost certainly WILL CAUSE gastrointestinal upset. This means constipation, black stool (YUCK), and sometimes CONSTANT NAUSEA. This cycle of misery will go on for MONTHS as most iron supplements take months and months to SLOWLY deliver their health benefits, building up hemoglobin and hematocrit and supplementing healthy ferritin levels. However, this is assuming they offer any relief at all, which is not guaranteed.

It might be possible to overcome iron deficiency anemia on those other cheaper, gut wrenching pills, if you can stomach them long enough for them to have an effect. Cheap iron supplements such as Ferrous fumarate, Ferrous sulfate, Iron bisglycinate, will likely cause nausea and constipation and even more importantly will be slow to work, taking months, if they work at all.

Blood Vitality™  has been show via clinical studies to be safe, effective, and have few side effects due to its unique and patented iron delivery system via Hydrolyzed Whole Protein Chelate which is MORE bioavailable with LESS negative side effects.

Don’t put yourself through the misery of cheap iron supplements when Blood Vitality™ is an option. A little more spent now will save you later as you see results FAST without unpleasant side effects.

Listen to these other happy Blood Vitality™ Customers†

I’ve been anemic since giving birth to my first child and haven’t been able to find an iron that my stomach could tolerate. When I had my ferritin levels checked in August they were at 11. Just had them checked again at the beginning of January (5 months later) and they are up to 40! Feeling great!

– Liddy

I was so tired and in my third trimester with twin girls. I had been taking iron glycinate for months and my iron levels kept dropping. My stools would be black and I felt gross. I had my ferritin tested and it was at a nine. I immediately switched to Blood Vitality™ and I couldn’t believe it but in 32 days my ferritin jumped up to 23. I didn’t have any black stools. My energy was so much better. My midwife said she had never seen any of her pregnant mother’s iron levels go up that fast, especially in the third trimester and with twins!!!

– Ama

It was hard for me to find a supplement that wouldn’t make me sick but would also help me with my energy levels. When I got pregnant I started taking Blood Vitality™ and my iron levels were the highest they had ever been and it was the best I ever felt, I had energy and wasn’t tired. I still feel great 6 weeks postpartum.

What form is the Vitamin B12 in?

Methylcobalamin. This is the most absorbable form of B12. Cheap B12 comes in the Cyanocobalamin form which is inferior, synthetic, and inactive.

What kind of Folic Acid does Blood Vitality contain?

First of all, Blood Vitality does not contain folic acid but (6S)-5-Methyltetrahydrofolic acid. Long name = BIG difference.

Secondly, this form of folate, produced by Quatrefolic® is in its “reduced, active, ready-to-use form.”

From Quatrefolic® website:

QUATREFOLIC® VS FOLIC ACID

In the recent years increasing evidence of the advantages of reduced folate vs folic acid have been found. The rational use of reduced folate (particularly reduced and methylated such as Quatrefolic®) is derived from the inability of a part of world population to assimilate and metabolize folic acid from food or supplements (the most of folate assumption is coming from folic acid man-made version in supplements and added to foods).

Folic acid and also food folate are not biologically active and need to be converted to the metabolically active 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF) through a multi-steps process where the enzyme methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) owns a key role. Some individuals, due to their unique genetic patterns and expression, have polymorphic forms of this enzyme and do not produce adequate or effective MTHFR [1, 2, 3].

Methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) is one of the most important enzymes in human physiology, deficiencies in production or function of this enzyme have been associated with increased risk of different diseases.

Can the capsules be opened and mixed with food?

Absolutely. However, we don’t recommend taking it with any calcium rich food (milk, yogurt, cheese) as this will decrease absorption.

What form is the Vitamin B6 in?

Pyridoxine HCL

Are there any yeast derived ingredients?

None at all.

Is this product gluten free?

Yes, this product is gluten free.

Is Blood Vitality Vegan?

Yes, Blood Vitality is vegan. No animal products are used.

Great product but...the packaging

Mt. Capra has great products. The Blood Vitality product is really important for me and it does what I need it to do. I like it so much I ordered 4 bottles to make sure I will not run out. But I had to grade it down, not because of the product, but because none of the bottles will open. The press down lids do not work and the only way to open the bottle is to cut it open and put the entire contents of the bottle into another container. Whatever the issue is (change of supplier, etc), it needs to be fixed.

It works

My energy levels have been steadier since taking it plus my stool color isn’t blackened. Also no issues with digestion. What else, I am happy and will keep repurchasing.
