The Details

What is Clean Whey Protein?

Clean Whey Protein is a highly digestible, non-denatured, low allergy whey protein food from goat milk. Milk is divided between two types of proteins; milk protein also known as casein and soluble protein also known as whey. The soluble whey protein as the name suggests, allows the protein to dissolve in water or water based liquids and is high in Branch Chain Amino Acids also known as BCAA.

Why a goat milk whey concentrate?

Goat milk is one of the most nutritious and wholesome foods known to man. Goat Whey Protein is a protein concentrate that is packed with amino acids, glutathione precursors, and other non-denatured bioactives just waiting to be assimilated by your metabolism.

Mt. Capra’s Goat Whey Protein contains some of the highest levels of branched chain amino acids (BCAAs) found in any natural food source. Along with the high values of BCAA, Goat Whey Protein contains a higher biological value (104+) than any other food on the planet.

Perfect Amino Acid Profile

Because it comes from all-natural, wholesome goat milk, this protein is more digestible and absorbable than any other on the market. Goat Whey Protein is superior to cow whey because it provides the body with the perfect profile of amino acids for building lean body tissue, muscle, or other protein needs. Because it comes from goat milk, it provides much needed nutrition without many of the negative effects of cow milk.

Fast Digestibility

Protein is useful in increasing lean muscle mass and assisting the body in faster muscle repair, all while increasing overall metabolic rate. Goat Whey Protein is metabolized faster than any protein due to its high digestibility. This means the amino acids get to where they’re needed quickly and without delay. Whey protein is of critical importance when the body is in a catabolic state and needs protein to function normally.

Clean Whey Protein is for Everyone

Contrary to popular belief, Clean Whey Protein is not just ideal for body builders and athletes but also for kids, adults, and the elderly. The ability of whey protein, to build muscle and boost the immune system makes it an exemplary wholefood for post-operative patients, burn victims, and those both old and young suffering from a failure to thrive.

What the Experts Say:

“Consumption of whey protein has a robust ability to stimulate muscle protein synthesis. In fact, whey protein has been found to stimulate muscle protein synthesis to a greater degree than other proteins such as casein and soy. .” – Devries MC, Phillips SM.1

Is there any casein in Mt. Capra’s Clean Whey Protein?

While virtually non-existent, Clean Whey Protein cannot be guaranteed to “100% casein free.” However any casein protein molecules found in our Clean Whey Protein (and the levels will be extremely low to zero) are unlike the casein found in cow’s milk. Cow milk casein is a common allergen while the casein found in goat milk often if found to be less allergy causing. So even if there are some trace levels of casein, it isn’t cow milk (bovine) casein.

How can I use Clean Whey Protein?

You can use it in so many ways, whether you mix it into your oatmeal or yogurt, or blend it in smoothies. It could also be mixed into chia puddings.

How can I prevent clumping of the protein?

For mixing it into liquids, the best way to mix it is in a shaker cup. First put your water or other liquid into the shaker cup, put the lid on and shake it up so the entire inside of the bottle is wet, then add in the protein powder, put the lid back on, and shake, shake, shake! Putting in the protein powder first into a dry cup can cause the powder to stick to itself and form clumps in the corners. Check out this shaker cup from Blender Bottle here.

Stimulates glutathione production.......which helped my body heal!

After years of suffering from chronic illness (and trying everything to feel better), I came across the book, "Glutathione Your Key To Health" by Jimmy Gutman, MD. Dr. Gutman mentions the healing powers of undenatured whey protein and its ability to stimulate glutathione production (turns out those suffering from chronic illness are deficient in glutathione). I had never heard of undenatured whey protein so after a quick internet search, I found Mt. Capra. I cannot say enough good things about this product. My body made a rapid recovery and I continue to thrive. I have this whey protein 2-3 times per day (along with Capra Mineral Whey). I highly recommend it!

I really enjoyed this protein. I am generally not into meal replacements and am not much of a smoothie drinker, but I have been struggling to consume more protein, and I figured this would be an easy way. I am a raw milk drinker, and I already knew that goat is easily digestible. This satiated me, and I feel really good about it being so clean. No additives, no excess garbage. Good stuff

Best protein powder ever

I’ve tried many alternatives- Tera’s, Truvani, local brands, the list is long. Nothing has come close to the quality of your product. Please don’t sell out, please stay real.
