The Details

The Essential Ingredients

Whole Goat Milk and Goat Milk Lactose are the main base in the Homemade Goat Milk Recipe and therefore, run out pretty quickly. This convenient bundle includes 4 Whole Milk and 4 Goat Milk Lactose to last a while, along with our 10 oz. Goat Milk Ghee. The best news is: by buying it in bulk in this bundle, you save and have to order less often!

Goat milk is much easier to digest than cow’s milk, is less allergenic, and is closer in nutrient profile to human breast milk. This makes it a great base for the goat milk recipe.

My baby loves that formula. I have 4 kids, never tried that capra goat milk formula before the 4th child. My boy never had a stomach problems with that formula. And because he was breastfed from the birth this is actually the only formula he accepted.

Loves the Goat Milk

My son Henry is 4 months old and 17 lbs and he loves the goat milk formula. We tried 3 different types of similac and he keep get bad gas and had trouble sleeping on his back. It seems daunting at first to make but is actually easy to make and trouble shoot. We make 1 quart at a time. I can also speed up my monthly subscription at any time. I'm grateful for Mt. Capra and my doctors NP was impressed by it also.

My 5 month old son has been using the Mt. Capra formula exclusively since he was about 4 weeks old. Before that he was breastfeed and by the second week I began supplementing about 3 oz a day of the Mt. Capra formula. He had no problems from the transition from breast milk to this formula. He hasn't had any issues with gas or spitting up at all. He loves it and is a happy, healthy baby. So thankful that we were able to find a formula we feel comfortable feeding him. This refill bundle offers a nice savings.

The Mt Capra Goat Milk Recipe was a God send for my newborn who had ‘severe reflux & colic’. Nothing was helping and my poor baby seemed to be in constant agony. My gut was telling me the diagnosis wasn’t right and after starting him on the GMR everything changed for the better overnight!!!! It appears he has a cow milk allergy! He was happy, alert, and sleeping peacefully, finally!! Thank you for sharing your knowledge, love and your goats!!

We have using this baby formula and recipe for 7 months now. The twins are 9 months old and the first 2 months my daughter used a soy powder formula from Walmart. The girls were both at the bottom 5th percentile on the growth chart at that time. Soon after we made the switch they flew up the growth chart to above the 95th percentile and the Pediatrcian was blown away. They are flourishing on this formula. We did have to eliminate the multi vitamin as it has the synthetic folic acid instead of the real folate and one of the twins was having methylation issues from the folic acid. As soon as we eliminated the multi and instead mixed in puréed organic greens and vegetables high in folate, that made all the difference. My only complaint with this recipe (not the formula itself) is the multi vitamin. Better research needs to be done on folic acid vs folate as folic acid can be quite dangerous for anyone with a malfunctioning or dirty MTHFR gene. Most pediatricians are not educated enough to pick this up. I give the formula a 5 star rating.
