The Details

What is Goat Milk Lactose?

Goat Milk Lactose is the naturally occurring sugar in the milk of all mammals.  Also known as “milk sugar”, lactose is roughly 20% the sweetness of common white table sugar. Capra Lactose provides essential calories to power life’s everyday activities.

Good things about Goat Milk Lactose:

Goat Milk Lactose is extracted from pure goat milk whey and is perfect for babies, toddlers, kids, and adults. It contains no corn, soy, bovine (cow) ingredients, or genetically modified organisms (GMO’s). A perfect addition to foods and drinks, lactose has been used to support growth of healthy microflora such as Lactobacillus acidophilus. It is a perfect addition to coffee, smoothies, toddler drinks, formula, baked goods, and yogurt.

How sweet is Goat Milk Lactose?

Like most milk sugars, Goat Milk Lactose is only mildly sweet-tasting, and is generally used to increase calorie content. It can be used in baking, but is not typically used to provide the sweetness that a cane sugar does.

My 1 year old loves it!!

I recently weaned my 1 year old and wanted to give her something that has great health benefits similar to breastmilk. I heard about your company and thought I’d give the Goat Milk powder a try. She LOVES it! She loved it right away so much so that I immediately did a monthly subscription for the milk and lactose.
