What cGMP actually means
The rule
cGMP stands for current Good Manufacturing Practices, the FDA's requirements for how food and supplements are handled, stored, and packaged (21 CFR 117). Every facility is legally required to follow it.
The check
Following the rule and proving it are different things. We bring in FSNS Certification & Audit, an independent food-safety auditor, to inspect our facility and verify we meet the requirements.
What it means for you
The products you order from mtcapra.com are handled in a facility that an outside auditor has confirmed meets the requirements set out in 21 CFR 117. Not our word for it. Theirs.

QUESTIONS
-
No. The FDA doesn't certify or approve facilities. cGMP is a regulation every food and supplement facility must follow. What's different here is that we pay an independent auditor to verify that we do.
-
Yes. The audit covers how we handle, store, and package everything that ships from our Chehalis facility, food and supplements alike.
-
Annually. The current recognition is valid through July 2027, and we'll post the new one when it's issued.
-
Yes, it's above. Download it anytime.
Note: "July 2027" in Q3 should pull from the metafield, not be hardcoded.
