Tropical Smoothie Bowls

This Tropical Smoothie Bowl recipe is a great way to get nutrients and feel like you are on vacation.

Yield: 2 – 8oz smoothie bowls

Ingredients:

2 oz young Thai coconut meat*
1 cup mango chunks
2 oz nut milk
1 frozen banana, sliced
2 Tbs. Mt. Capra Caprotein**
1 cup ice
4 oz orange juice
1 cup granola, your choice!

*young Thai coconut meat is a natural emulsifier with a mild coconut flavor, it is available in the freezer section of your natural foods store

**You can take the flavor of this smoothie bowl in a completely different direction with Mt. Capra Berry Whey, which is clean and fresh while being rich in antioxidants and minerals. Do note that the protein content is less than that of the other Mt. Capra Protein Powders, so you may need to adjust if a high protein smoothie is your goal. Our Clean Protein would also go well in this smoothie. That’s what’s great about Mt. Capra products, they’re so easy to mix and match and make your own ideal blend!

Garnishes: fresh kiwi slices, shredded coconut, goji berries, bee pollen, cashews, blueberries, drizzled honey

Preparation: This smoothie bowl is mostly about assembly. Place all smoothie ingredients into a blender and process until smooth but still thick. Then, fill a bowl with 1 cup smoothie and ½ cup of your choice of granola. Garnish your smoothie bowl with all of your favorite toppings and enjoy!
