Orange Creamsicle Smoothie Recipe

Frothy and light, this orange creamsicle smoothie will take you back to that sweet childhood summer treat that we all adored. Ideal for children and picky palates alike, this homemade citrusy smoothie aims to please with its bright flavors and gentle sweetness. Furthermore, the addition of Mt. Capra Goat Whey Protein, Mt. Capra Colostrum, and Mt. Capra Mineral Whey adds body and minerals to this delicious smoothie that boosts 12g of protein per serving!

Yield: 2- 16 oz portions

Ingredients:

2 tsp vanilla extract
6 oz nut milk
1 ½ cups ice
6 oz citrus orange juice
1 frozen banana, sliced
1 ½ Tbs. honey
2 scoops Mt. Capra Goat Whey Protein/Clean Whey Protein (unsweetened)*
2 scoops Mt. Capra Colostrum
1 Tbs. Mt. Capra Mineral Whey (optional)

*Note: If you want a little more sweetness you could try swapping the unsweetened whey protein for the Mt. Capra Goat Whey Protein/Clean Whey Protein (vanilla). Or you can substitute vanilla extract + whey protein for Caprotein (will change protein/serving).

Preparation:

Place all ingredients into blender and process until smooth. This Orange Creamsicle Smoothie should be fairly thin and frothy, it is intended to be enjoyed immediately as it will begin to separate the longer that it sits.
